The January edition of the biannual flower show at Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Bangalore just concluded. I and my 11 year old were there on one of the days and were mesmerized by the gorgeous flowers on display. Here's a photo tour of the flowers and critters...

  30. What a collection you have here. I am always fascinated by herons, especially in flight and have never seen a pond heron that I know of but will keep an eye out come spring. That last shot, wow, how long did you have to wait for that and I've been thinking about taking photos of people and how some don't take it so well lately, did any of the artists object and have you encountered extra issues with someone's art in the shot?
Thank you for the colorful collection of flowers, some of my old favs and plenty of new ones. I'm fascinated by the spoon mum and your treatment of the snapdragons.

    1. I was lucky with the fish shot. It was noon and I was feeling really hungry after having skipped breakfast and it seemed the darter was hungry too. Didn't have to wait long. The artists were quite cooperative. It is always wise to have a chat with them before seeking permission to click.
